Aqualandia — the headline park

Open since 1985 and still one of the most extensive water parks in Europe. 16 hectares, 30+ attractions including the Vertigo (33 m near-vertical drop, one of the world's biggest), the Big Bang freefall, the Verti-Go capsule, plus a huge wave pool, lazy river and dedicated kids' zone with mini-slides. Combo tickets with Mundomar make this the best-value family day in Benidorm.

Half-price after 16:00

From early July to end of August, gate tickets bought after 4 pm cost ~50% less and grant free re-entry the following day. Perfect for hot August evenings.

Aquanatura — the family choice

Smaller, newer and more shaded than Aqualandia, sharing the Terra Natura site. The combined ticket (€42 adult / €32 child) covers the animal park and the water park in one day — outstanding value. The Anaconda raft slide is the headline attraction; the lagoon-style pool and kids' splash zone keep under-8s happy for hours.

Aquopolis Torrevieja — the southern option

Located between Torrevieja and La Mata, Aquopolis is the only major water park south of Alicante. 12 hectares, all the classic slides (Kamikaze, Black Hole, Multi-Slide), wave pool, kids' lagoon. Open mid-June to early September. Free shuttle from the central Torrevieja bus station.

What to bring & rules

  • Swimwear with no metal buckles, rivets or studs (rule on all slides)
  • Towel, sunscreen (reapply often — there is little shade on the slide stairs)
  • Water shoes — concrete gets seriously hot midday
  • Cash/card for lockers (€5–€8) and food
  • No outside food or drink, no glass, no inflatables larger than armbands
