The Benidorm cluster — Terra Mítica's universe

Four of the Costa Blanca's five biggest paid attractions sit on the same hillside in Benidorm: Terra Mítica (the headline theme park), Aqualandia (water park), Terra Natura (zoo) and Mundomar (marine animals). A combined 'Aqua Natura' pass lets you mix and match across multiple days, with very meaningful discounts versus single-park tickets.

Smaller adventure parks worth knowing

  • Aqua Natura Murcia — sister park 90 min south, less crowded, great if Benidorm is booked out.
  • Pola Park (Santa Pola) — small but charming, with a 30 m Ferris wheel and family rides; under-10s love it.
  • Aquopolis Torrevieja — solid mid-size water park 5 min from Torrevieja town.
  • Karting Finestrat — €18 for a 10-min senior race; popular teenage birthday spot.
  • Sierra Helada zip-lines (Tirolinas G-Force) — three lines up to 750 m long, above Albir.

Tickets, queues and timing

Buying online is always cheaper — €5–€8 per ticket — and lets you skip the entry queue. The official Terra Mítica app shows live wait times and lets you reserve a 'Premium Pass' (€25 supplement) that cuts most queues by 60–70%. In peak August, average wait without Premium is 35 min; with Premium it's 12 min.

Arrive at opening (usually 10am), tackle the headline thrill rides before the queues build, take a 12pm–3pm break (eat off-park if possible — food inside is notoriously average), then return for the cooler late afternoon. Most parks stay open until 11pm in July and August with night-time light shows.
