NIE, TIE & Residency
The paperwork that lets you buy, work, bank and live in Spain — handled end-to-end by specialist gestors.
The NIE (Número de Identidad de Extranjero) is your gateway to almost everything in Spain — buying property, opening a bank account, signing a rental. TIE and residency come next. We introduce you to gestors who do this every day.
The Spanish administration is not designed for foreigners
Appointment systems are booked out months ahead, forms change, and consulates and police stations follow different rules. DIY costs weeks.

Frequently asked questions
How long does an NIE take?
Typically 2–6 weeks depending on the province, or same-day if applied at a Spanish consulate abroad.
Can I get an NIE remotely?
Yes — through power of attorney or at a Spanish consulate in your home country.
Do I need residency to buy property?
No — you only need an NIE. Residency is separate and only required if you live in Spain more than 183 days a year.
